Could you tell me the name of an RAF airfield?

I'd like to know the name of an RAF Airfield which had spitfire squadrons during ww2 was north of London but was within range of Dover and the channel. Any extra info would be appreciated

  1. North of London would have been Duxford (Towards Cambridge) or Northolt (Near what is now Heathrow)
