  1. if the bacteria is killed than yes. this is how a FoodSaver works.


  2. only to the extent that the moisture and bacteria in the body would allow.  If the water in the body stays within the body and doesn't dehydrate then the body wouldn't mummify.  Heat would also play a role.

  3. A vacuum would desicate a body (draw out all the moisture); so - YES.
