  1. there is a series of numbers that are covered up by stuff you scratch off you have to enter 3 of those numbers the ones in little boxes

  2. Well yeah they could do that but everyone that is scratched they can't sell. So if they scratch it they will have to pay for it. In every place that they sell those tickets, they count them all at least one a day (most places it's every shift) so if some are missing (because they haven't been paid for) that cashier will get in trouble for stealing.

  3. you refer some content from below link..click below link..

  4. no when you scratch em off there is a code they enter

  5. That's the fun of getting a scratch off.  The anticipation of winning is why I buy them.  The cashiers don't have the time or the means to scan the cards through the silver that you scratch off.  Maybe in the future, they can; but I will still scratch them off.

It's sort of like playing the slot machines - seeing what you can win.

  6. Yeh i think they call it honesty, plus theres only a few decent enough prizes worth losing your job for and there gonna be scattered all over the country. You have a very small chance of winning anything bigger then a couple of quid. Most people aren't stupid enough to risk there job and a criminal recored for a tenner!

  7. Yes there is.

In the lottery, they prevent the owners, proprietors and workers of any establishment that sells lottery tickets from being a winner; much the same way Pepsi employees can't enter Pepsi contests.

For scratch offs, you have to scratch the card and enter the code. If you scratch the card, you might as well buy it, because it's not like you can resell it at that point. So that's how they stop that.

    Hope this helps!

  8. Yea they could, but I think the store would find out that lottery tickets are missing, and there getting no money for the ones missing.
