Council housing points in west lothian (scotland) help please!!!?

Question

right, i am living with my parents and have my own room, its just me and my parents. they are moving 25 miles away back to where they are from but i want to stay here as this is where i was brought up and where my sisters, friends and work are, but my mum and dad have the house on the market and i feel very under pressure. i am already on the housing list, have been for 2 and a half years. will i get anymore points for the fact my mum and dad are selling up? x

I have a friend who works for a housing association who had a neighbour in a similar situation to you, her parents sold up and moved to another city, because her father had new employment. Her neighbour's daughter applied and was offered the rental on a property not far from her workplace. Good luck.
