Council tax payment?

just wondered

is it better to pay council tax re-payments with direct debit rather than cheque? whats the benefits/disadvantages of direct debit?

Direct debit is more covenient and means you havent got to remember to pay.  Other than that it doesnt matter

Direct debit is cheaper than most other methods of remitting regular payments, it also carries a guarantee from the bank that if anything goes wrong they will reimburse you.

Direct debit is much better you have not got to worry about it then no cheque writing or forgetting
