Counselors what to do for snooping addiction...

what kind of methods would a counselor offer a client who is addicted to snooping and prodding and trying to find dirt on their spouse (of course its cause they where wronged in the past, but its causing big time problems in future relationships)....

  1. get a good doc who can help with your jealousy issues and cleptomania we both know when you snoop you find things they don't use much. well i have.


  2. That's not an addiction, that's obsession..with finding something bad to justify the mistrust she has for him.....and if you are a couselor..might I suggest not posting your picture on here..some client might want to contact you..

  3. I wouldn't say you have a snooping addiction, but I would say you have some trust issues. A counselor could only suggest ways to overcome your past traumas. Trust issues are the hardest to work through, and I firmly believe if there isn't trust in the relationship, then it won't work. Start by opening lines of communications with your current partner.
