I seem to have run into a situation where I have been accused of being negligent at work. I had a kid that was lost at a pool and was not in sight. I was questioned about the situation and told an investigation would insue. I believe that if they find this to be true that have to report me to a child protection program. Is this true? IF so would resigning offer me any protection, I'm only 19 I really don't want this on my record. (i'm trying to teach as a career) any other advice would be great.
