  1. The Earl (the British nobility does not have the rank of Count) and Countess of Wessex don't take their children with them when they are perfoming official engagements, much as I don't take mine to work with me!  Lady Louise is still very young and so is unlikely to be taken yet to church services, weddings and the other sorts of places where the Royal Family is often photographed.

  2. Prince Edward & his family are now classed as fairly minor royals & as such have less appeal to the press & the public.

  3. The children are private citizens and are not part of the royal roster for photo-calls.I've seen pictures of the daughter in Hello magazine and at http://www.theroyalforums.com  The children are considered too young to take part in official photo- calls, assemblies,et cetera, and as they are from a lesser royal branch(not inheriting the monarchical title) may be able to have more private lives than William and Harry.Lady Louise and Viscount Severn do not have royal titles, just the stylings for the children of an earl. This decision was made at the time of Edward and Sophie's wedding;the royal family are trying to pare down the list of royals because of the public interest in the cost of the monarchy.

  4. It was the Queen's choice.

She wants a smaller Royal Family in the future.

Just the King & Queen & their sons.

    Carlos.

  5. I presume that you mean the Earl of Wessex, youngest son and Prince of Her Majesty The Queen.

As the Wessex's and the children are quite low in succession to the British Throne, it has been a deliberate policy to operate a low key publicity role for the children. The children are being known as Lady Louise and Viscount James but in reality they are both Royal Highnesses and Princess  and Prince .

You won't see many, if any pictures of the children unless it is something of major importance.

  6. They probably value their privacy and don't want their daughter to become "public property".  Plenty of time for that later when she's older.

  7. Perhaps they like their privacy - do you publish pictures of your family everywhere?
