  1. its normal, lots of people count the stairs, or they count the cups as they wash them- its only a problem if the counting gets so out of control that it takes over every aspect of your life.

  2. My friends think I have OCD because I whisper how many steps I take from the bus to the school. I don't care how many steps I take, as long as I whisper the steps! But I don't think I have OCD. : /

  3. i don't think so

continue doing it if you like

and don't be so quick to label yourself

you could be labelled for life easily

  4. I use to walk a lot when I was much younger.  I would read a sign then I would repeat what the sign said over and over in my head. Such as established 1892 over and over. I had OCD. I out grew it. I went into counseling. You're going to be alright don't worry.

  5. I don't think it's OCD, I think it's just a habit you may have gotten into at some point. I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone picks up a little habit like that sometime in their life. I think it's normal.

  6. Sounds like the start of OCD.  But I would not worry till you find it is something you have to do and if you catch yourself doing it just stop.

  7. well now u know you can walk and count at the same time.
