Countdown Calendars?

My colleague at work was telling me about something that he's downloaded for his desktop.

It's a countdown calendar - he says it's from Google - so that he can see how many days, weeks, months it is until he retires!

I've been looking for it, but can't find anything like that. He says that it's on the Google Homepage and you go into extras or something. There is a calendar thingy there, but not a countdown one!

Do any of you know anything about this and where I can find it?

There is a technical problem with google's one at the moment.
