Counter Strike Souce FPS help???

right it reccomends most of my things to be on medium the video settings but in most matches my fps is 9-20 and i simply cannot play.. i put all on low and there is no change thetre is 1 map which i get around 30-50 on but thts about it. in the stress test i get 13-22.. my setup is

Intel Celeron D @3200 mhz

Intergrated express family chipset graphics card.. i know its poor but i will be upgrading..

1gb of ram

any ways to improve my fps because i will have just wasted £20 on a good game which doesnt work!!!

Integrated graphics is SLOW for gaming. That best that you could do are:

1. Allocate maximum shared RAM for graphics (done in BIOS)

2. Lower your screen resolution

3. Use 16bit color instead of 32bit

BUT a "real" graphics card, even a budget card, should do wonders to your PC.
