  1. 100% Lightsworn. I know I'm bias (I run Lightsworn) but the deck trully is brilliant. It's fast, reliable and most importantly powerful. Used and built properly Lightsworn decks can be extremely playable as proved by recent regional placings.

Although DAD is still a very powerful deck, the ban list has seriously damaged it's overall playability making it a waste of time and money to make. It will soon not be able to compete at regional level.

Although Counter Fairy is probably the cheapest to make, it is not as playable as some of the current top decks. If you are only choosing from the above decks, then I would go with Lightsworn.

Try this build...... Hard to make but incredible.....

    Monsters - 22

    1x Card Trooper

    2x D.D. Crow

    3x Celestia, Lightsworn Angel

    2x Jain, Lightsworn Paladin

    3x Judgment Dragon

    2x Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner

    1x Ehren, Lightsworn Monk

    2x Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress

    1x Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior

    3x Wulf, Lightsworn Beast

    1x Sangan

    2x Necro Gardna

    Spells - 11

    2x Foolish Burial

    1x Monster Reborn

    1x Premature Burial

    1x Heavy Storm

    3x Solar Recharge

    2x Monster Reincarnation

    1x Enemy Controller

    Traps - 7

    3x Solemn Judgment

    1x Torrential Tribute

    1x Trap Dustshoot

    1x Mirror Force

  2. you should build DAD, but counter fairy cost the least.

here is the 3rd place nationals build

    DAD

    Miguel Garcia

    Main Deck:

    2 Allure of Darkness

    1 Bottomless Trap Hole

    1 Brain Control

    2 D.D. Crow

    3 Dark Armed Dragon

    1 Dark Grepher

    1 Dark Magician of Chaos

1 Destiny Hero - Disk Commander

1 Destiny Hero - Fear Monger

    2 Destiny Hero - Malicious

    1 Elemental Hero Stratos

    1 Jinzo

    1 Mind Crush

    1 Morphing Jar

    2 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast

    1 Sangan

    1 Snipe Hunter

    2 Solemn Judgment

    1 Spirit Reaper

    1 Strike Ninja

    1 D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation

    3 Destiny Draw

    1 Heavy Storm

    1 Monster Reborn

    1 Premature Burial

    2 Reinforcement of the Army

    1 Crush Card Virus

    1 Mirror Force

    1 Torrential Tribute

    1 Trap Dustshoot

    Sideboard:

    1 Bottomless Trap Hole

    1 Exiled Force

    1 Jinzo

    2 Kinetic Soldier

    2 Legendary Jujitsu Master

    1 Mobius the Frost Monarch

    1 Mystical Space Typhoon

    1 Raiza the Storm Monarch

    1 Soul Exchange

    1 Threatening Roar

    1 Treeborn Frog

    2 Vanity's Fiend

one of the best DAD out there. I also copied this build, but I took out mind crush for phatom of darkness,it works, trust me.

  3. Obviously DAD is the best but perfecting one would cost well over $1000 as the main cards are things like Dark Armed Dragon (200) Crush Card Virus (400) DMoC (50) You see my point. But they have dominated the metagame since the release of Phantom Darkness. They have also survived this years first banlist and continue to run efficiently despite the loss of Dimension Fusion and limiting of Allure of Darknenss and Return from the D.D.

But if you are on a budget then i recommend lightsworn. They don't cost too much and run pretty well. Its jsut that they're the main target of the next ban list coming this september.

  4. dad is the best deck but it costs alot unless ur lucky and got from boosters. dad is virtually unstoppable if u hav the right cards. Lifgtsworn is good but its easy to defeat with decks tat stall or decks tat can otk.
