what are some tips for being a good awper in counter strike source?

You do this to get easy kill with awp.

1. If scoping after shot you should set the auto-change weapon key to something like "q".Then u will shoot faster than when you would if u waited,

2. If you want to run and shoot.When you see enemy (depending on weapon) If enemy has awp Jump and crouch in air then scope.

If machine gunner you should continue running but if he shot you quickly crouch and scope.

If Pistol, Shotgun or grenade stop, crouch, scope and shoot.

If the person is close by and u dont have tim eto scope its well worth a try to just no-scope shoot and hope for a kill.But if enemy is alive and so are you change weapon to Pistol and get the kill.

3. The awp is a bad weapon for people who lag or seem to have connection errors.If you play with lag the awp will shoot the wall or an object instead of enemy because the bullet will hold back for at least 0.5-0.7 seconds

4. To get a perfect headshot i suggest you train and get used to the awp.Then you will love it and be getting headshots every round.( for good headshot practise go to deagle only maps and train headshtos with pistol then use awp)

5. Last thing you should remember before using awp main rules..

Run, jump, crouch, scope (or no scope) and shoot.
