  1. once you countersink a s***w it has been countersunk.

  2. 'Countersunk' is simply the past tense of 'countersink'

    You can buy special countersink bits for wood in most shops that sell tools. If you want to do countersinking in metal, you may need to go t an engineers' supply shop.

  3. Only difference is "tense"

    There are inexpensive kits that come w/ various sizes of countersink bits  that also have a pilot drill as well  as driving bits.

    Can also buy the bits "loose" for the size s***w you need countersunk.

    Best regards

  4. Any of the bits on this page :-)

  5. The above is correct - or you can also use a debt gauge on your drill

  6. Past tense.

    "countersink"=verb

  7. Countersunk is the description of a hole that has received this type of machining. Countersink is the description of a treatment that is to be applied to a hole so that after it's done it then becomes countersunk.

    Perhaps a little difficult for some people to comprehend, but I still hear actors in the soaps using "them" instead of "those", peoples belongings are frequently referred to as "them" when they should be "those", it's only the people themselves that should be described as "them"

    Still what can you expect when teachers are trained to instill PC into children before they are taught the basics of the English language.

  8. You can also buy 'bits' that drill and countersink without having to change bits or use two drills. TREND are a good make and can be bought singular or in a set of three, the later will accommodate most size s***w heads

  9. a countersunk bit .

  10. You use a countersink to create a hole which is countersunk, ebay may be a better option:

  11. like previous answer countersunk is past tense of countersink,you can achieve this with a countersunk bit or use a drill bit bigger that the hole you have drilled,but be carefull not to re drill the hole

  12. you need a countersink bit in order to countersink the s***w,once the screws in place and below the wood level it is then countersunk?????
