I split my time between Switzerland the U.S. Both countries, as may be expected, have their pluses and minuses. However, I cannot imagine cutting either of them out of my life.

pros - in the U.S. I think there is more of a variety of choices for dietary, entertainment, etc. Oddly though (it sounds contradictory) Switzerland is more internationally-oriented as one might expect.

cons - there is a lot of xenophobia in the U.S. Unfortunately there is to some extent in Switzerland as well -- especially toward Muslims and sometimes citizens of former Yugoslavia.

I live in the United States.  Generally I like it, the diversity of the land, people, and places.  We do have our issues, but hey, what country doesn&#039;t?  The major thing I dislike about being from here is the stigma Americas get from other people throughout the world.  If people would realize the stereotype they have bought into and would take the time to get to know the individual people of our country, they would most likely realize we are great people just like them!  Not all of us are the morons they want us to be.  Plus, there is a difference between what my government does and how I feel.

Ireland , love it , we have a good social structure here , strong family and friend networks , lovely stout and a good standard off liveing , we are close to alot of countries so its very easy to travel e.g. new york 6 hours , U.k. 1 hour , spain 3 , Holland , germany etc 2 , but the weather sucks

i live in australia.  all in all i&#039;m happy here.  heres some of the things i like and don&#039;t like about my country

LIKE

*its where most of my family and friends are

*people are relaxed, have a good sense of humour and don&#039;t take themselves too seriously

*its cleaner than most countries

*its alot more diverse and cultural than most pople think

*the media is always entertaining

DON&#039;T LIKE

*its too hot

*too dry, especially now, we&#039;ve been having a drought for years

*isolated - far from the rest of the world

*not as much history or culture as europe

But all in all i&#039;m happy here :-)

Australia. I love it.

We have a bit of everything here. People say it is very similar to Canada but obviously not as cold.

We live in a tropical climate. It is not only a country, but it is an island so it feels good to be all on our own.

I live in Brisbane. We have a tropical beach in the city! You could have a swim on your lunch break.

Plus we are a friendly bunch of people!
