Countries for an exchange..?

could you please tell me which countries are the best for an exchange for girls between 13,14, an 15 years old.

i want a nice place,preferently in europe to study a year but i don't know which one is the best one and that isn't that expensive, please help me decide and if you have a page that is about,please post it

  1. Well, Switzerland is a country where you could probably practice both languages. But there are very few exchange programs that enroll students between 13 and 15. Most exchange programs will require you being at least 16 years old. Here is a directory of reputable study abroad programs: http://www.macquil.com/abroad.php. Other countries you should look into are Austria, Germany, France, and Belgium.

  2. that sounds like a tough age to go to europe for study. their school systems can be VERY different from ours. you may have trouble fitting what you learn there into your education here, or you might find that your education here hasn't prepared you for study there.

    also, you'll have to be very fluent in another language if you want to study anywhere not predominantly English-speaking.

    past all that, I would recomend a trip to Germany. I never studied at a high school there, but I did teach English at one for a short time. if you have any questions, you can email me.
