Countries !?

Question

This is a strange question. Ive heard that loads of people including me in the UK would love to move to America because it sounds great. Do you think some Americains wish they could move to the UK just as much as we'd like to move there ?

Ironically enough, at this time I know a lot of young people want to move out of the US because of the current economic and political situation. Of course, that's not always an option, so I know a lot of people are just resorting to moving to places where things are booming here in the States. Personally, I would love to move to Europe, but that's financially impossible for me right now, so instead I'm moving to Alaska. It's about as far away from the continental US you can get and still technically be in the States. I hope that answers your question!

I think that disgruntled Americans talk about moving to a European country, thinking things would be better there, but it's just bar room talk. If they actually moved to another country, I'd bet that before long, they would move back to the USA.
