  1. http://geography.about.com/library/maps/...

the above is a link for the info you need..for "w" however there were only two; Western Sahara and The World...hope this helped...

  2. Western Sahara

  3. Wellington

  4. - Western Sahara

    - Wallis & Futuna (French island territory)

  5. wales

  6. Good question, 1337. The answer is 0. I looked @ a book listing the countries (& territories) from A to Z. Don't be deceived by Wallis & Futuna, Wales, Western Sahara, Wake Island, or Western Samoa.

Wallis & Futuna I think is a New Zealand possession. Just a few islands in the South Pacific.

Western Samoa now goes by the name Samoa. Don't confuse it w/ American Samoa.

Wake Island, like American Samoa, is also an U.S. territory. It's also just a island. It was recently pounded by a typhoon, but I think it's inhabited; I think it's a wildlife refuge now.

Wales is a part of Great Britain.

& Western Sahara is a possession of Morocco.

  7. WEST XYLOPHONE :D

  8. Well, there is Western Sahara... but it was taken over by Morocco and Mauritania, but then the Mauritanians left but the Moroccans stayed... and some of the people there are fighting to regain independence, but generally, nobody really considers this a country anymore.  It has no government, no money of its own, does not have diplomatic relations, etc... but a lot of people say "No, it doesn't belong to Morocco."  So, it's sort of a big "question mark" on many maps.

Then there was Western Samoa, but they dropped the "Western" in 1997 and became just Samoa.

So, there you have it.  There kinda are and kinda aren't any countries that start with "W".
