Country/Down to Earth Baby Names?

Question

Hi, my husband and I have about 12 weeks left to figure out names for our first child. We love country names, but nothing too backwoods. I also would like something non-common and nothing that has short forms ( I grew up Jennifer and had Jenny, Jenna, Jen all as nicknames!).

Our last name is Bartlett, and the middle names will be Thomas Michael for a boy, or Catherine Jean for a girl (can be switched).

We have some names in mind, but I'm looking for some thought-provoking, intelligent suggestions.

For a girl I really like the name Cheyenne but it just doesnt work wll with my last name. For a boy me and my husband were thinking about the name Dawson. If those are not country names I dont know what else is. Good Luck!
