my predictions what are yours?

Twenty20 – Nottinghamshire, they finished top of the group last season and lost off the penultimate ball in the Quarters to eventual champs Kent.

County Championship – Lancashire, I would say Sussex but I said Lancs a couple of weeks ago when I thought Mushtaq was banned and I’m going to stick with them. Sussex are rightly favourites but Lancs were 12 pts behind last season and with Freddie firing they can come out on top.

Friends Provident Trophy – Somerset, random pick, they finished mid-table last season and have lost Cameron White this season but they did well in the pre-season tournament finishing on same pts as Lancs and Yorks.

Pro40 – Durham, they’ll miss Ottis Gibson but they’ve got good fast bowlers in Plunkett, Onions and Harmison. As well as Plunkett they have all-rounders in Breese and Benkenstien. They also have the best one-day batsman in Shiv Chanderpaul, he averages over 70 in his last 35 ODIs.

t20 is not a thing that can be said on paper it is a unpredictible game and anything can happen.

Good Question

T20- Anyone can win it, the T20 format is so unpredictable, BUT Essex have a good variation of players, nice pinch hitters, good tight bowlers etc, so i would go with Essex

Championship- I think Sussex are stronger than last year, first of all it's Chris Adams last season. Second of all they have a new bowler who took Australia by storm called Ryan Harris he took so many wickets in the Pura cup. Last of all they have Prior all season and Mushtaq Ahmed too

Pro40- Yorkshire strong one day unit, and maybe this year they can finally pull it together, they have an unbelieveable bowling attack and some good seasonal campaigners

FP Trophy- I don't care if they aren't the best team i'm going to go with my heart and say Gloucestershire !!. We have Kirby and Spearman who are quality players.

2020 - I'll agree with KooKee and say Essex, although Warwickshire should be up there - they have Pollock all season and Jayasuriya for the 2020.

Championship - Do Sussex still have Mushtaq? If they do they I going with them, but Lancashire will be up there again (hoping the rain won't ruin their chances again!)

Pro 40 - Lancashire. I think Somerset could cause a suprise here and do really well.

Friends Provident - Essex or Warwickshire (If Pollock gets firing)
