A flywheel of moment of inertia 6x10-3kgm2 is rotating with angular velocity of 20rad.s-1. Calculate the steady couple required to bring it to rest in 10 revolutions.

  2. This is just a T = Inertia * angular acceleration problem.

    Your angular acceleration is derived from the steady state angular velocity and the time to decelerate.  Then, derive the torque resultant from the required angular acceleration.
