Both teams are regular contributors to the Pro Bowl game, an event bringing the top notch players from the teams around the American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFC) to fight off the competition.
Many of their top players are in line to play the weekend game. They include Ravens’ running back, Ray Rice, and Colts defensive end, Robert Mathis. Both of them, according to the latest announcement by the team’s managements, have opted out of the game
just a couple of days before its schedule.
Nothing much has been elaborated by the team on their all of sudden excuse from playing the game. Apparently, the players have decided to remain absent from the team due to some family issues.
The Pro Bowl event is held almost a week before the National Football League’s (NFL) mega event of Super Bowl.

All teams around the NFL contribute their top notch players to the Pro Bowl game every year. Almost all players from the Baltimore Ravens including the running back, Rice, have played the game before.
Many more are due to play this year, and according to the team’s announcement, Ray Rice will not be joining them this year.
Ray Rice is one of the leading players at the Ravens who have played a role in another successful NFL run. The team has finished atop the AFC North, claimed the divisional title, and were through to the AFC championship game.
