  1. 1. i don't really mind cashman

its the stienbruner family that should be gone they've been with the organization far past there welcome as far as im concerned

    2. i love a-rod but i really think he has to perform better in the playoffs

    3.outfield

    lf,jonny damon/hideki matsui

    cf, xaviar nady/jonny damon

    rf,bobby abreu

    1b, giambi/xaviar nady

  2. No I like Brian Cashman.  I know! Everyone should stop hating on him.  He's one of our best players and they need him! And next year in the outfield I want Johnny Damon in Left Field, Melky Cabrera in Center (Even though he's in AAA right now, I'm hoping he'll get back up in the Bronx), and Bobby Abreu in Right Field.  I want Jason Giambi at First Base.  And I don't want anyone but A-Rod at Third Base.

  3. 1) No, I want Brian Cashman to stay. Like all people, he's made his mistakes, but the good times have outweighed the bad, in my opinion. He's got to have one of the most stressful jobs on the planet. The expectations are so high. You might get mad at the players for missing playoffs. You might get mad at the manager for missing playoffs. But when it comes down to it, the GM gets the brunt of it because he is the one who puts players on the field.

It's got to be hard to be the GM of a team that is expected to make it to the World Series each year, when it just isn't possible.

    2) Different people have different problems with Rodriguez. Some hate him for his off-field problems. Others say that as long as those off-field problems don't hurt his field performance, they don't care.

Some say that A-Rod is a selfish player who is only concerned with MVPs. Some say that he's not concerned with winning a WS as long as he gets his personal hardware.

Some hate A-Rod because he's underperformed in the off-season. Some hate him for his money.

    And some like him.

    3) At the very least, I'd like to see some younger options in the outfield. I think Melky is going to make a case to stay on the roster. Christian and Gardner are going to fight. And, I don't want to get jumpy, but we're going to see Austin Jackson soon enough. Maybe not as soon as next season-- God, I don't want to rush the kid-- but I'm eager to see what he does in the majors.

As for first base, maybe I'm a bit biased, but I like Jason. He still makes me nervous with his defense, but I'm thinking with some work and practice, he'll be okay. Mostly, he's a likeable guy and he feels like he hits better if he's playing in the game. Anything to make him hit.

    Additional Question:

There's no one I'd rather have at third than A-Rod. He's one of the best players in MLB.

  4. 1. Yes, and theo epstein believe it or not. He knows how to build a great team.

    2. Cause he never comes through in the clutch, which matters the most.

    3. Mark Teixeria

Ryan Braun- He played 3B last year and can do it again

  5. 1. Do you want Brian Cashman gone, and if so, who is your top choice for gm- Well i dont want him gone but whatever the Orinization decides to im good with it

    2. Why is everyone hating on alex rodriguez. He's your mvp far and away.- Its not a Hate people just want him to do better in the PLayoffs

    3. What do you want your outfield/1b to look like next year?- Firstbaseman maybe Texiera , but he is demanding a lot of money and a 10year deal, and the OutfiELD THATS HARD

  6. 1. No, I don't want to see Cashman gone. It seems people always focus on bad moves he's made, and never the good ones. He's not perfect, but I think he'll get a good team together for '09 (though I won't give up on this year).

    2. People look to blame him, partially because he is the highest paid player and he's hitting just over .200 with runners in scoring position. All the bats have gone cold lately. One player can't be 100% at fault. I wish he'd start hitting better, too, but I know it's not all his fault. A team isn't built on one guy.

    3. LF Hideki Matsui, CF Johnny Damon, RF Xavier Nady. I don't think I want to see Bobby back.

I'm not satisfied with Giambi, and I really hope we let him walk. There is no one I'd rather have at 3rd than A-Rod. He has more talent and ability than any other 3rd baseman in MLB. If he got more hits in the clutch, though, this question wouldn't even be asked.

  7. 1) No. I actually like Cashman. He's had his share of f-ups, but he's still a good GM to me.

    2) I don't hate him at all. But he's gonna keep getting flack for failing to be "clutch." (I think he gets far too much trouble for it, but when you're paid as much as he is, you have to accept it.)

    3) The outfield I want is Matsui, Gardner and Nady (left to right) with Damon or Melky Cabrera coming off the bench. First base, I'd like Teixiera, but I think he's staying in Anaheim.

Edit: Giambi's gone at the end of the year. And I don't want him back unless he signs for much less. He's not MVP-caliber anymore.

  8. No way Brian cashman is the real deal! he has done so many things for this organization would be a shame!!!

I will tell you why on A-ROD. Because he chokes in the playoffs. He is godly up to the playoffs. Then he goes into a slump and can't do it. That is why He will not be the greatest.

1b should stay the same it doesn't get much better than it is right now. Most people should agree. as for outfield good question brother Not to sure on that one.
