Question:

Couple of questions about Sky+?

Am new to Sky+ and like it a lot.

Have recorded a couple of films and want to use the Copy function to record onto my DVD recorder. Can I edit the recording (ie remove the adverts at the beginning)?

Does the recording happen in real time?

Also, only signed up to 6 TV mix (no films or sport) and am only paying £21 / month. After a couple months subscription, I've noticed that I now seem to have all the films and sport channels but my bill hasn;t gone up. Am I just lucky and they've made a mistake or have I activated something by accident (certainly haven't gone to upgrade services or anything)?

Thanks in advance.

  1. Sometimes there are special offers or promotional deals whereas you get the full package free for a limited time. Check though cause sometimes if you dont cancel after the given time they will charge you

  2. all that "copy" does is turn off the on screen display. Your recording will manual (ie you will have to start recording the show when it appears on screen and carry on until you want to stop recording). You cant easily skip the adverts though.

  3. I cant help you out with the recording question . But with the Sport and movie question this happened to me in my last flat. I only ever payed for the basic sky package but i received  everything for the whole 2 years i lived in the  place. I think it's just a mistake on sky's part and unless you tell them they wont be able to find out. I have now moved out of the flat and I'm paying the full price for sky now. Enjoy you free sky.
