Courbette tack?

I'm looking at the bridles and possibly stirrup leathers. Do you know what kind of leather and if they hold up well?

  1. I mostly like Courbette.  I have the Axxis saddle, and I LOVE it.  It is the best deal I have ever seen in a saddle.  However, they have some saddles that you could not give to me for free.

I have the leathers that match, and they have held up well so far--nice color, right combination of supple/stiff, haven't seemed to stretch.  I have had them for about 1 1/2 years.

One of the horses where I ride has a black Courbette bridle, and it is nice, soft and supple.  Their bridles seem really nice.  I have an M. Touluse dressage bridle.  It is really nice.  I highly recommend their bridles.  They have the style and feature of more expensive bridles, soft yet durable leather, and all at much less cost.  Check them out.

I like to go to http://www.horsetackreview.com/ to check reviews.  Of course, more most items there is an excellent review and a terrible review.  However, if you look at all of the reviews together, you can get the idea of which way people generally lean.

I really recommend seeing the tack in a store as much as possible, in case you are purchasing online.  By all means, save money and buy online, but try to just get an idea for which bridles you like.  When I pick out a bridle, I look through them all and pick out ones that I really like without looking at the brand or price.  Then, I wean out the too pricey, then check the names, but I mostly feel and look over the quality and see if it is the type I like--i.e.--grippy reins, laced, flash, crank, etc.

    Good luck!
