Courses and Home Education?

Question

i need a change of career, are on line courses any good and will employers reconise a home study course, i have a child and plan to have another should i put courses on hold until then - any ideas on what course to do that are interesting and pay good money, i am just bored in my office job there is no challange, i have always regretted not going to college but now with a home and bills i need to work also...

The best at home learning is with the OU - you could have your second child whilst studying or have a part-time job whilst studying.  I spent 4 years with the OU studying health and nutrition.  Employers do recognise the qualifications when you're finished.  It shows you can manage your time effectively if you work, have children and are willing to study on top!
