Hi guys,

I was caught going on a speed of 74 at a 60 zone in Virginia and being honest I was doing 68/69 and not 74 mph. But w/e the cop said he issued me the court date.

Now since I recently moved to Va my license was issued from the state of NY and not VA. And last week I got my new license issued by the state of Va. Since I have a totally new license now do I still have to go to that court date? or no? What else can I do? If I pay the fine by phone will I get no points on the new drivers license since its a totally different one?

Thanks for the help guys!

  1. if you pay by phone it's possible it won't go on your new license. it has to do with the way tickets are reported interstate. when you pay use your ny license (no mention of your new one) and you'll have probably a 40 -60 chance you'll get missed.

  2. Oh, Go to court, or they may issue a capture on sight warrent, then shot you just because you didn't put your hands where they could see them when they catch up tp you. LOL

On the other hand you can still go to court but claim the cops radar is wrong as your car simply can not go that fast.

It almost worked for me but then they asked if it was possible that I could be wrong and like the dummy I was at the time I said yes I guess so.

That cost me 3 point and $100. So keep a firm answer that you could NOT possibly be wrong no matter how they try and trick you. LOL

    Good luck

    Steve
