  1. modifications are difficult to get b/c the judge/court doesnt always agree with what we, the parents feel is in the best interest.  when i was dealing with all this ...it took an act of congress for me to get visitation stopped..my ex was picking up my 3 YO and taking her to bars and to buy drugs....it took me months to get them to squash the visitation..but eventually he lost it...

    have a lot of proof when you go to court to make sure you can sway the judge...good luck
