Courts Flyer to win with flying colours in the Romford Stadium Maidens on 4th May
The Romford Stadium Maidens will be hosted by Romford over 400 metres flat on Friday, 4th May. The £150 event will see All Jack, Slippery Rocky, Kreschatik Paddy, Destiny, Boogie On Conor and Courts Flyer participating.
The most credible entry for the race is Courts Flyer, Black Shaw’s two-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Clash Quickstep. Out of the ten ventures that she undertook ever since the new season shot off, she claimed three of the starts.
She started the new season’s campaign on 15th February at Wimbledon by getting drilled over 273 metres and completing the task in 16.46 seconds.
The two-year-old was able to bag the seasonal debut by winning the 225 metres race at Romford after taking 13.85 seconds to settle the distance. The winner led by ¾ of a length and was soon joined by the runner up, Snowy Skye.
The victory followed a long spell of failure that continued for the next five races. Thrice during the phase, Courts Flyer, scored second and ended up stumbling on to fifth and sixth position.
The second success of the season came on 7th April in a Grade A3 400 metres flat at Romford when Courts Flyer timed the track distance in 24.39 seconds. She led the runner up, Pippas Fantasy, by 9 ¾ lengths, who took 25.17 second to reach the
other end of the wire.
Settling third behind the winner was Buckaroo while the 11/4 favourite of the race, Bag Of Sand, finished sixth.
Ever since this victory, the two-year-old started repeating a trend of claiming a race and then ending third.
On 14th April she was third in a Grade A2 400 metres flat at Romford after taking 25.23 seconds to make it to the other end of the wire. The race was won by Alis Valley while the 3/1 joint favourites of the race, Dromluachra Blue and Millwards
Daisy, finished fifth and sixth.
She then went on to claim a Grade A2 400 metres at Romford by clocking the track distance in 24.48 seconds. The 5/4 favourite winner of the race led the runner up, Droopys Blake, by one and a half lengths.
Her most recent 400 metres race at Romford had her finishing third.
She has all the chances of claiming the race tonight.
