  1. A lot of kids don't understand when they're being bullied or taken advantage of.  Try to get her involved in extra activities which may put her with kids with similar interests.

It's hard when you don't have friends.

  2. She should let her friends come to her. She sounds like a loving young lady, but too much love can be a downfall. I say this from experience. Tell her not to get used because friends are not friends today, not tomorrow, but maybe the next day. They are missing an opportunity to have her as a friend, but are too young themselves to acknowledge a world of beauty. Something have to learned at home, and I'd say the other children parents may not tell them to be nice and make no enemies. She has a good friend in you, show her what friends do do with each other, love her.

  3. I think it's good for kids to go through it when they are younger, it makes them stronger people... IN other countries, it's normal for a kid to have his head smashed into the locker on the first day of school and some don't make it out alive. I think it's amazing that she's not intimidated by these people.... don't make the mistake of sheltering her. Children are not as delicate as they may seem.

  5. honestly, i think it's really cool that your cousin isnt bothered by what other kids say. that's really rare. you should just be proud of her, and if in the future it gets worse and does start to bother her, then you can help her. it's really cool of you to be so concerned too :)
