  1. In general terms:

    any hydrocarbon- the list is long: methane (natural gas), propane (for the gas grill), cooking oil, other types of oils and fats, sugars and syrups and other sweet stuff, personal care products (you name them, they are probably on the list), paints, solvents (another long list)

    metals that oxidize- like iron in the form of rust, aluminum that has oxidized, copper that has oxidized (look at the outside of copper water pipes- it is no longer shiny), money- coins, especially pennies have oxidized to some extent.

    furniture- wood, fabric, the foam stuffing

    got the idea....


  2. Water, honey, sugar,heating oil, fuel gas, paint thinner, many other more complex mixtures and so on
