  1. cover up is all purpose. with foundation its basiclly what you put on during a step by step makeup process..

    concealer

    foundation

    powder and blush

and thats the order you put it on

  2. there's no difference

  3. cover up it is just the name. but foundation it covers things up but makes ur skin blend together better. cover up you just put on the spots you dont want showing. but foundation you put it all over your face. i use cover up nd then like a bronzer blush thing and tht makes my skin even. i personally dont like foundation cuz it gives me zits.

  4. well it depends on what brand you get but i like foundation better and its better for your skin

  5. Foundation is what you use on mainly your whole face. It makes your skin color more even and hides blemishes. sometimes it makes your acne less noticeable. Concealer which is your cover up, is more for specific spots. Like, Pimples, under eye bags or expression lines. Concealer is a lot thicker & more noticeable then foundation. You usually put on foundation first & then dot concealer on. Concealer is usually in little tubes or in tubes that look like lip gloss or sometimes in a lip stick form. Foundation can be in a larger tube or glass bottle.

**** best thing to use is foundations with minerals, they give you a light makeup that blends well.***** hope this helps

  6. Everyone has already answered this, I'll elaborate :P

There are different kinds of each.

Coverup/conleacer: there's liquid in tubes, its got a sponge brush, you just dab a little on in the areas where you see issues and blend, make sure you don't like pour it on, if you get good liquid cover up (Almay line smoothing with blue cap and square tube, I LOVE IT!!), you won't need much at all to hide what you want.

There's also cream/stick concealer, which I've used. Its kinda nasty because its like lipstick, but coverup, its usually really thick and doesn't do a very good job in hiding stuff.

Now there's mineral coverup, I honestly don't know if this stuff is good or not. Its mostly Loreal stuff and kinda expensive.

Foundation: this is for the whole face in general so you can even out skin tone and just make your whole face look flawless.

There's liquid kind, which I personally really don't like because it can clog pores and its heavy (unless again, you get the expensive kind). Its kinda like liquid cover up, but comes in bigger quantities.

There's pressed powder foundation (Like Loreal Airwear, which I use), this is dry stuff, not liquid. It does a pretty good job of covering stuff up, so don't be fooled that liquid is the only thing that can even your skin out well. If you have dry skin though with many rough patches, they will be verrrrry visible under powder

There's also mineral foundation, which is the same as powder, except it comes in loose form. This stuff usually has the best coverage, and you can control how much you put on pretty easily.

  7. by cover up do you mean concealer? i think so. concealer is thicker and is to be used sparingly to cover blemishes and under eye circles. foundation is more sheer and applied to the whole face to even out skin tone and cover minor imperfections. hope this helps!
