Cover-up for breaking a phone...?

yeah so my phone was missing for about 2 days, and this morning i discovered that it must've gone through the washer ( the internal features are fried). now i think that my parents might not accept that, so im considering different ways i could destroy my phone and come up with an excuse as to why it's not my fault. any ideas?

Open up your phone, run over it or stomp on it, then say you got in a bike wreck.
