  1. I would probably say Maybelline because I have never tried Covergirl foundation. If you are open to suggestion, you might want to check out Rimmel London cosmetics. They have a really great matte mousse makeup that stays on quite a while. I love matte mousses when I can find them, especially the one that is made by Elizabeth Arden. But I have tried the Rimmel Matte Mousse and I really liked it.

First of all, make sure you have a good set of skin care products. That means a soap-free facial wash, a mild toner, oil-free moisturizer (unless you have really dry skin) and possibly a mask to tighten your pores once a week. This is very important to help keep your skin looking as healthy as possible. Personally, I like Neutrogena's line of skin care because it is hypoallergenic and I have sensitive skin.

In order to get your makeup on really light, dab a couple of places on your forehead and cheeks, and a dot each on your nose and chin, with your fingers. Then using a damp cosmetic wedge or sponge, use only upward strokes, and very lightly start blending your makeup until you can't see any lines as to where it stops and starts. That includes carrying the foundation down just under your cheeks. Look for the color that is closest to your face color because natural and fresh looking makeup is so much better than looking like a clown wearing too much caked on makeup. And mousse foundations are whipped so they usually go on lighter than liquid or creamy makeup bases. After your makeup is applied, using a powder brush, lightly apply some translucent (no color) powder to your face, also using upward strokes. Make sure you cover your face completely and dust off any extra, unwanted powder. The reason you want to use upward strokes is because pulling downward on the skin can cause premature wrinkling .

Plus this is the technique that makeup artists have always used on me.

Whatever other makeup you decide to wear, just make sure that you use very light strokes, going upward whenever possible.

Well, I hope that I have been of some help to you.  Best of luck to you!

  2. KRYOLAN

  3. use Clean Makeup by Covergirl

its light, looks natural, and wont clog your pores.

  4. I personally use a powder from bella pierre (its from france the sell them in special boutiques in big malls). But if I was to use one of those you mention it would be Maybelline dream matte mousse do to the fact that liquid foundations clod up your pours more.

  5. covergirl tru blend is the best EVER. it blends easily stays pretty much on all day, and looks VERY natural.

  6. I would say Covergirl liquid foundation.  It stays on all day, blends in great, and looks very natural.  I've also tried Mabelline.  It just didn't blend in well.

    Good luck!!!
