hi..thnx for looking..

we had our pool opened a wk ago.the guys that opened it, did place a case of clorine in there, and algecide(sp), but I just got around to vacumming today . I just got the reels delivered for the solar cover..My question is.. I have the frogger system too, so thats been going w. chemicals in it..BUT I do not know what the levels are yet.. Is it ok to place the solar cover on it, if the ph is off .as Im sure it is ?.. as long as the froggers going, I think its ok to throw it (solar cover )on, but all stores are closed, cant get the water tested till tomorrow.. thnx in advance for advice. & happy mothers day to all moms :)

  1. anytime you ever put chemicals in your pool like weekly maintenance you always want to leave your cover off for several hours afterwards. if you do not over time the bubbles on your cover will start to pop off and float in the water and get stuck in your skimmer basket voiding your solar blanket warranty. i work at a pool store so they usually void warranties if that happens. you pool needs to breathe and with that cover on and the chemicals just placed in there it has no place to go so therefore it starts to eat at the bottom of the cover till they burst. hope that helps!
