Covers for wire shelving in refrigerator?

I moved into a condo that has wire shelving in the refrigerator is there some sort of cover, something that I can put on top of the wire to catch spills and if possible make it more sturdy?

  1. Truthfully, you shouldn't cover them with anything.  Apparently, that fridge was not designed for that and covering the shelves could block the cold air from circulating and you could end up with unsafe temps in areas.
