Cowboys or Eagles.. who wins NFC in 08 ?

if u look at both of these teams on paper they r the 2 best in the NFC. yea i know the vikings too but the eagles and cowboys(losers) beat the vikes and both the birds and the boys improved. so who wins EAGLES(Yea!!) or cowboys(losers)?

It will be interesting after week 6.  The Eagles are still looking for trade Lito Sheppard for either a high pick or good D-lineman.

Also if the two team were to play now, I would pick the Cowboys,  but Romo tends to slip late in the year and if that happens again then it would obviously be the Eagles.

I think they will both be tied at an 11-5 record.

I'm leaning a bit more towards Philly because they get to play the 4th place teams in the NFC, and Dallas has to play the 1st place teams in the NFC.

McNabb is healthy, Romo is pissed from last year... it should be a great season!

I can't really foresee McNabb staying healthy for the whole season, but they will be a very tough team I think.

While I despise the Eagles with all of my soul, (see Buddy Ryan) they may be a very dangerous team to the Cowboys. I'll wait on calling this until I've seen EITHER team play....

Eagles will finish 2nd in the NFC East by a very slim margin! maybe a win or 2! then the Eagles will win their Wild Card playoff game and then they'll have to play the Cowboys in the divisional playoffs (the Cowboys first playoff game!) and big surprise Cowboys will lose! so Eagles will make the NFC Championship game or further!

Carolina's defense is stacked. They will win the NFC this year (unfortunately)....Cowboys and Eagles have a shot at the playoffs, but won't go far.

the COWBOYS and, EAGLES, may well be the best ON PAPER but, it is obvious that, the GIANTS, are the best on the field. oh, You guys can have the regular season. it's way overrated. We will take DECEMBER through FEBRUARY.

Since the Cowpies can't win in the playoffs, that kind of narrows down your choice to the eagles. However, the Eagles may not even make the playoffs so....

Well, I know you are an Eagle fan, but I really don't see where on any paper anywhere the Eagles are found to be one of the best.

McNabb is healthy, for now, which makes them much better than last year.

But, they don't have much for WRs. Brown is nothing but a vey average WR. On any other team he would be 3rd string.

I do expect TJ Smith to come back with a vengence this year after his injury last season.

Westbrook is a great back, but they will ride him too much.

Dallas is stacked on both sides of the ball at every position.

The only way Dallas doesn't win the divsion is if Jessica Simpson starts s******g the whole team.

Sorry dude, but the Boys will walk away with it.

Eagles all the way. The Dallas Cowboys are a great franchise...but I have a pure hatred for those guys. The Eagles have all the essential weapons to be the NFC's top contenders. We got it man...for now though, lets get ready for St. Louis...and watch out for that young kid from Cal State, D. Jackson is a monster.

I'm going to go with the Cowboys. While both teams look good on paper, I think that the Cowboys look better. With Romo, Barber, and TO leading the offense and Roy Williams and Adam Jones on defense, Dallas is almost a lock-in for the NFC powerhouse

Cowboys should finish what they started last year and win the NFC.

The Eagles will be second in the NFC East; and should win a playoff game, but the Cowboys and Saints will meet in the NFC Championship.

How do I know? I don't. But it's my prediction.

EDIT: You don't have to remind me the Cowboys lost in the playoffs. Do I need to remind you the Iggles didn't even MAKE the playoffs last year??

The Dallas Cowboys are so loaded with talent, and if it all comes together they will run away with a weak NFC. The Eagles will contend if McNabb can stay healthy for a whole season. The fact that they have no recieving threats except for their RB could hurt them. I just think that the Cowboys are being underestimated, and the Eagles are being overrated. SI had the Eagles in the Super Bowl, but i can't this happening,

Neither. The Giants will probably win it again. Everyone is counting them out and they showed that they can clearly play ball.

I hope the Bucs make it, though it is unlikely.
