  1. LOL! They do not put the flank strap on the animals "parts". Not for bulls OR bucking horses! If that was true then why are most bucking horses MARES (females for all that don't know what that means). Instead of bashing rodeo, watch it, and ask questions to those who actuall live it and do it, not people who are clueless about it all.

  2. hey hicks, this is english HORSE RACING not redneck rodeo!

  3. All you PETA people crack me up.  "don't hurt the poor animals"

I'll bet you're wearing leather shoes right now.

As for harming the bull.  They just ride it, then send back through the gate.  Not like bull fighting in Mexico and Spain where they kill it and then have a bar-b-q

  4. They DON'T harm them! The riggin the cowboy holds on to goes around the horses or bulls heart girth. the flank strap in nowhere near there animal's BUSINESS!!!!

  5. They do harm them. They tie huge ropes around the animals genitals and pull as hard as they can. Thats what get the bulls and bucking broncos to buck.

  6. well where would you like me to start.first things first.most bulls make more money than most blue collar workers do in a year so why would a contractor want someone injuring his livestock.second ,anyone found injuring the bull will be assesed a fine or removed from competition and may lose his competition licence to ride ever again..the bulls that i fight are some of the most pampered livestock in the world! they work for eight seconds get to rough up anything in their way(including me)then get to go to the corral, eat ,sleep, drink water that has electrolites in it like gatorade..the flank rope(around the bulls rear)isnt tightened and doesnt come anywhere near his private parts..the bull rope  is held tight by the riders grip so when he loses his grip it releases unless it hangs the rider up.the spurs have to conform to the rules and cannot harm or cut the bull in any way.so unless you want to come and have the best seat in the house(so far i havent had any takers) you need to go to a rodeo and find out for yourself.

  7. they hurt them those ropes gotta hurt
