Cows!!!!!!!!!?

I was showing my dog at the 4-h fair and i kinda got into all the cows and thought they were cool we have horses at are house but dont have the room for a cow so my mom said we could look into leasing one but i wanted to know what was invoveld with leasing a cow and the best kind to show/lease i like beefers but hefers are ok i guess

I've had cows, and they aren't that cool. They don't do anything but eat, break fences, and be delicious. I've never heard of leasing a cow, but I can't imagine that there would be any point to it. A cow isn't going to win enough shows to cover the expense. Unlike a horse, it won't really care that you exist. If you still want to do it, the best option is to raise a steer and show it at the fair, then sell it for beef. You'll actually make some money this way.
