Can you have cable internet (from cox) and direct tv (dish) service working over the same co-axial cable at the same time?

  1. Yes.  Most definitely.  I have Directv and high speed cable internet.  They do not interfere with each other at all.  I've also had Dishnetwork in the past with both cable and DSL internet.  Not a problem.

  2. I am not sure but I was thinking that DISH had a dish not a cable run through the ground

  3. if you are asking about directv for tv, yes it is possible, as long as it is a straight run, with no splits.

they can use a diplexer outdoors, which is like a splitter that is reverseable, and combine the two signals outdoors, and then use one inside to separate them again.
