Cox cable tv question?

i live in las vegas

and there is the dtv thing coming in february

i have the ten dollar cable service from cox and do not have a cable box but i dont use an antenna

do i still need to get that converter box?

  1. You shouldn't and if you do, the boxes are only $20 if you got the coupons from the government.


  2. If your TV is cable-ready, it's receiving the digital signal.

    The box is only needed if you capture your signal from the airwaves.  (No cable, no satellite dish, etc).  If you get your signal through a service that delivers it into your TV, no worries!  You're good.
