Coxing.....?

What are some good calls to make to get your team going. My team is going to nationals and i was just wondering if there were any coxswain's out there that could give me some tips on like motivation.

coxing?  as in..boxing with your..eh..

Well, my cox knows when each of us starts to die down so then she calls a 10 for that rower. She also calls a bunch of 10s to focus on certain things. We don't really win but we're 10th graders rowing in varsity races.
