CPT stands for comon proficiency test which only applicable for one persuing CA.......if you have choosen commerce stream and now want to take decision after 10th or 12th.....you may go for many options but as u asked about CPT.......CPT is an entrance exam which provides you to prepare for CA.......but before that you have to be resistered with ICAI institute......you can know more from any CA institute that stands near to you.........you can have a prospectus from there....it is having all information about it in details or i suggest you to visit this site to make clear yourself in this feild www.icai.org........thanks
