CRF!! ALL THE WAY!! The technology is way more improved. And the CR  is not made for motocross. It is a desert bike. The CRF250R is track the CRF 250X is trail so your good with CRF either way!

fir me its 2 stroke cr250 all the way u dont get that same sence of this thing could spit me off at any moment on a 4 stroke. dont get me wrong 4 strokes r good they turn well smooth power nd dont sound like they about ti explode,another thing 2 strokes r alot cheaper ti run and keep running if a 4 stroke go s bang your talking big kudos!!   airs just something about the noise nd smell of a 2 stroke YEHHHH BABY LOL

its gonna be preference. i would try riding both a two stroke and a four stroke before choosing. ive heard things going around about how two strokes are slowing down in production. but two strokes are more easily worked on compared to the four strokes.  dont forget the cr250 and crf250 are in two different classes, crf races with the 125 two strokes.
