  1. get a crab trap they woork pretty well but dont get it tangled

  2. On a beach, just prowl around turning over rocks and stuff, you will find them hiding underneath.

  3. I met a girl who had crabs once.....

  4. Buy a really good crab line with net and use mackerel as it is the best bait! They love mackerel! Make sure your have a bucket of fresh sea water ready to put them in.

    Good luck!

  5. go to the grocery store and buy a chicken or turkey neck (if you can't find them a full size chicken leg will work),  then get some string (simple kite string will work or something a little bit thicker) and a net with a long handle (about 4 ft)  and a cooler you can fill with sea water (to put them in) and another person to hold a lantern.

They should stand behind you to your left or right...

you throw out the chicken about 20-25 feet out in front of you (not in the surf but calm water) wait about 5 minutes.. then slowly start bringing it in not too fast - the crab(s) will be holding on to it... keep your eyes peeled... then when you see them slowly pull the chicken over the net that you have in the water in front of you - when the crab gets over the net lift it quickly... drop him in the cooler and repeat...

it may take you several times to master catching them....  don't go with bacon - it doesn't sink and it breaks too easily.

  6. There's not a lot to it really. Tie a bit of raw bacon to the end of string and slowly drop it so it rests on the sea bed. Keep it still in the water for a bit and then slowly and gently pull it back up. Ohh and have a net to catch the crabs and a bucket to put them in!

    Happy crabbing : )
