Crabbits ?

Ok So I have been hearing lately about a rabbit and a cat breeding...People say they raise then....Others say they are urban myths...The ones that bread them say that Rabbits and Cats have the same reproductive system....Help me please.

Cabbits. They're just a made up animal popular in Japanese cartoon shows. (See Tenchi. Google a cabbit.)

I looked it up.

A cabbit is a manx type cat with a genetic disorder causing it to have rabbit like hind legs.

They are just an urban myth. Some cats do have rabbit-like hind legs which are an effect of a birth defect, but you can't breed rabbits and cats. =)

the Cabbit is nothing more than a myth. some people claim to have one and show it off as a cat/rabbit mix. the animals that these people actually have are cats/kittens with a birth defect that affects their back legs. this defect makes the cats back legs resemble rabbit legs. the handicapped cat must "hop" around because they are unable to use their legs normally. this is what leads people to believe that their cat is part rabbit, when in reality it is just a birth defect. cats and rabbits are genetically incompatible. meaning that it is genetically impossible for them to breed and have young, so the cabbit is nothing more than a myth. here is a website that explains some of the reasons it is genetically impossible for a cat and rabbit to breed. http://www.lairweb.org.nz/tiger/cabbits....

Complete and total myth..rabbits and cats are completely different genetically and their DNA is not compatible to breed.  Most members of different species on the planet cannot interbreed.  Some VERY closely related animals that belong to the same genera CAN reproduce such as tigers with lions, a couple different species of warblers, a donkey with a horse, etc.  If anyone tells you they will sell you a cabbit...don't believe them, they are just after your money.  See more info here:
