Crack In My Snake Egg?

Okay, like two weeks ago a friend found 8 snake eggs. I took one and he kept the other 7 (which he promptly killed by forgetting them for 4 days). I think mines okay, it hasn't started to rot or anything and I am keeping it moist but not wet. I noticed yesterday that there is a crack forming; It doesn't look like a crack from hatching. Could it be because its to wet or something?

dont get your hopes up it will probably not hatch. even the sweat from your hands can clog the pores of the egg and kill it. if the egg hasnt been in warmth for a few hours its probably dead.

no it could be hatching keep the temperature from 80-92 degrees and mist it often

its possible that you might have cracked when transporting it as long as its not a deep crack its OK
