  1. New engine/scooter whichever is cheaper

  2. hi it could be welded but you must take it to a specialist aluminium welding company as special equipment is needed to repair aluminium correctly or the other option is a company called metalock they specialise in repairs to castings but neither method is cheap so check out the cost of a new casing first to see which is the most economical way of tackling this problem good luck hope this helps

  3. put an alluminium welding after dismantling the engine.

  4. Get a new engine or scooter, whatever's cheaper.

  5. Depends on the severity of the damage and the location.

Try "JB Weld" - available at hardware stores.

It's an epoxy that is as hard as steel when it cures.

I've used it many times with great success.

  6. Ally welding isn't always a great solution. Depends where the crack is.

  7. Depends on how bad it is cracked where it is cracked and the brand of scooter

  8. Fix it or recycle it.

  9. I have in the past repaired engine casings with a good dollop of Araldite (on the inside).  Maybe JB Weld is the modern equivelant.

  10. alloy weld it....but it all depends on where its cracked....

  11. Buy a second hand engine.

  12. What kind of scooter? If it's Chinese or Korean just junk it. If it's a Honda or Yamaha, fnd a good used engine for it on eBay or craigslist.

  13. go to craigslist, find someone selling a used one, and just take the motor out of it.

  14. jb weld works wonders

  15. New engine:
