Cracking Choice to crush down the competition in the Thirsk Racecourse Pavilion For Wedding Receptions Selling Stakes

There are only two entries in the line-up of the Class 5 Thirsk Racecourse Pavilion For Wedding Receptions Selling Stakes who have raced at the venue lately, Coconut Kisses, and Cracking Choice. Neither could win the race, but do have some hands on experience
as compared to the rest of the contenders.
The five furlong race has brought together nine runners for the £2,588 prize money. Thirsk will host the race on Tuesday, 18th September.
Choisir’s chestnut colt, Cracking Choice, started racing just this season, and has raced at Thirsk just once out of the six outings. None of his races culminated into a success and the best that he could offer the connections were two second scores, the
first one at a maiden and then the next one at the handicap debut.
After failing to break the maiden thrice in a row, the Michael Dods trained was pretty impressive in the ESH Construction Nursery on 17th August, 2012 at Newcastle over five furlongs.
Cracking Choice tried making the most of the chance. He did not give up the pursuit until he was headed over by the eventual winner, Sandsend, over a furlong out. He kept up with the stamina when inside the final furlong, but missed the wire by the mark
of a length.
The favourite winner of the race was ridden by, Tony Hamilton, while the runner-up was guided through the track distance by, Paul Mulrennan.
A third position in the second handicap led to his entry in the Thirsk Racecourse Pavilion For Wedding Receptions Maiden Auction Stakes (Division II) on 8th September, 2012 at Thirsk over six furlongs.
Even the fourth position he had to share with, Knockamany Bends, who had Paddy Aspell onboard.
The race was won by, Skidby Mill, who defeated Tonality, by the mark of a length.
The 3 to 1 entry will race out of the sixth trap with jockey, Paul Mulrennan, onboard.
He will need to look out for the two-year-old chestnut filly, Coconut Kisses, who qualified as the runner-up in the Thirsk Racecourse Conference Centre Claiming Stakes on 20th August, 2012 at Thrisk over five furlongs.
