Cracking Sound in Skateboard?

Question

I got a new skateboard and whenever i ride it, i hear a cracking sound and same with everybody else who rides it. Did i do anything wrong when i set up the skateboard or did i get ripped off?

its just breaking in dont worry

its the bushings (the rubber things inside the truck). their just breaking in. i boiled mine and the cracking went away cuz i didn't feel like breaking them in.

loosen ur trucks

I bet its mostly when you lean left or right, these are just your trucks, even after loosening them you will still hear the sound when you really give the board a turn, dont worry about it unless you see a visible crack in the middle of the board, or streaks on your board above the wheels, then you may have loosened your trucks a little too much and when you turn, your wheels and creating friction on your board.
